1. The service

The Stradale provides editorial listings and community reports about vehicle touring, accommodation, organised trips and touring-service directories. It is not a hotel, booking agent, tour operator, security assessor or vehicle-access engineer.

2. Information can change

Garage ramps, parking arrangements, security, roads, prices, dates and availability can change without notice. Reports reflect a particular vehicle and visit. They are useful evidence, not a guarantee that your vehicle will fit, remain secure or encounter the same conditions. Confirm important details directly before travelling.

3. Third-party bookings

Outbound links take you to independent businesses. Any booking, payment, cancellation, insurance or complaint is governed by that business’s terms. The Stradale is not party to that contract. Some clearly labelled links may earn us a commission.

4. Community submissions

You must submit honest information based on your experience and have the right to share any words or photographs. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading, private or infringing material. You grant The Stradale a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, edit for clarity, publish and display the submission as part of the service. You retain ownership.

We may use automated checks to publish straightforward submissions and hold potentially harmful, abusive, promotional or legally sensitive material for human review. We may verify, edit, decline or remove submissions and may suspend misuse. Publication does not mean we endorse or independently verify every statement.

5. Member tools and sharing

Roadbooks, Garage records and Buying Scrapbooks are private by default. When you enable a share link, you are responsible for the itinerary or buying-list information made visible to anyone holding that link. Do not include confidential booking details, registration documents or personal information in shared fields. You can disable sharing from the relevant list.

Buying Scrapbooks are personal shortlists. The Stradale does not verify an advert, seller, price, mileage, history or availability and does not endorse a vehicle because it appears in a member’s list.

6. Wanted adverts

Wanted adverts must describe a genuine intention to buy a car or motorcycle. Members must not post misleading, unlawful or commercial lead-generation adverts. Replies are private messages between users; The Stradale does not verify the buyer, seller, vehicle, ownership, history, mileage or payment arrangements. Never send money or sensitive documents without carrying out your own checks. We may pause or remove adverts and replies where misuse is suspected.

7. Intellectual property

The Stradale name, design, original editorial content and software may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Third-party names, photographs and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Liability

Use of the service is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, The Stradale is not responsible for loss arising from reliance on changing community or third-party information, third-party services or site interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Operator and law

The intended operator is a UK sole trader trading as The Stradale. The operator’s legal name, service address and contact email must be inserted before commercial launch. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
